A wealth of experience
I’ve been fortunate to work for a number of blue-chip companies and household names over the years. During the last five years I’ve been able to apply my knowledge and experience gained from the likes of The Co-operative, bmi and Balfour Beatty, to mid-sized SMEs that are looking for growth.
It may be that you need guidance with your SME marketing strategy, or help in defining your marketing plans and communications. I’ve considerable experience in all these areas, over my 25 years in marketing.
By working in a range of industries too, this gives me great transferable expertise. I primarily work with companies in the service sector, from health and wellbeing to construction, from legal to funeral planning, and from CSR to education.
Working with SMEs
Most firms I meet – whether legal, construction, or another service sector – are growing and reaching out to the next level. The owner, MD or Sales Director has been overseeing the marketing, and they need either specialist expertise to develop their SME marketing strategy, or external help in devising and delivering their marketing plan. Sometimes just that extra resource and push makes such a difference.
Marketing solutions that fit your needs
The way I work differs according to the needs of your firm – both in terms of your vision and the resources you have available internally.
For some companies this will be on a project basis; delivering the marketing strategy or rebrand for example over a 3-4 month period. In other cases I work with your in-house team as your marketing lead, creating and delivering plans and developing your people. Or you may require pure marketing consultancy advice and direction on an initial basis, and then monthly or quarterly thereafter.
As I don’t focus on providing one small part of marketing (eg. social media), I am completely independent with the advice and solutions I give… always working in your best interests.
